Beauty is in the Eye of the beholder…NOT!! At least that’s what I thought for most of my adult life. The Rediscovery of Me (Janett Reid-Waterman)
Before I had my boys (ages 4 and 2 years) I took time to make me look good. After the boys and marriage I let myself go, if I combed my hair in the morning and the wind blew it out, I would just brush it back with my hand and so it would stay, I took no time to properly brush it back in to look presentable.
Further to this I have a cleaning business so I really didn’t care about my dress as no one was seeing me anyway. I’m sure most of you can identify with that. Jeans and tees and I was ready to go.
My sister then told me she was going to have me seasoned like what we read in an Archie and Veronica comic when young and I got really excited.
We had a Stoosh party on March 5, 2011 with five of us and Patrice. A whole new world was opened for me and it started with just one pair of neutral shoes.
I really started paying attention to how I looked even when going to the supermarket, believe me when I say looking good makes you feel good inside and out so take time to make yourself look great and you will not regret it TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!
